Volunteer

needs experience (already working in a safe house); 2 year commitment:

  • Leading the Team at S-Cape

   

•  

  • Overseeing day to day tasks and ensuring the programmes are running smoothly

   

•  

  • Ensures that Staff and Volunteers are cared for and looked after

   

•  

  • Steps in to mediate any conflicts that arise between staff and residents

   

•  

  • Ensures that all budgets and book keeping are up to date

   

•  

  • All staff are at S-cape are accountable to the General Manager

   

Staff -

committed for a year/experience working with broken people or addiction.

Counselling, discipleship, shifts in safe house and office and other tasks as needed.  Focus on the girls: disciplining, mentoring, keeping them on the program. 

Workshop Volunteers -

Come in once a week to conduct different workshops with the residents. For example, arts and crafts, dance, computer skills, life skills, etc.

Marketing/Fundraising  -

This person will oversee the web site, coordinate fundraising events, write grants  and oversee volunteers who want to contribute to this end.

Intercession Coordinator-

(part time) to lead the staff and volunteers in regular intercession and coordinate some intercession special events around this end.

Office Manager –

Someone who has experience in accounting, who is thorough and detail oriented. This person will be looking after the budgets and accounting. They will also be in charge of running the office.  (Examples, ensuring supplies are in stock, answering telephones, paying bills answering email, etc.)

Social Worker –

Must be a local, volunteer position, willing to make our cases a priority. Will work closely with the case worker; give advice on national laws, how to deal with victims and help with a restorative plan.
